Khabib explained why he is not friends with former opponents

Khabib Nurmagomedov, former UFC lightweight champion, has never considered forming friendships with former opponents.

“No, we must be polite. But it will never become a friendship. If this guy tries to break your face, how can you be friends with him? It’s completely different,” Nurmagomedov’s words are quoted by Sportskeeda.

Let us remind you that Nurmagomedov retired in October 2020 after winning early against Justin Gaethje.
