Dominick Cruz, former UFC bantamweight champion, is not impressed with the wrestling level of current heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
“Honestly, when I watched the Jones vs. Gane fight recording, I decided that Aspinall would just throw a couple of punches, forcefully shoot for a double-leg takedown, and bring Gane to the ground. But we saw not only Gane’s takedown defense, but also that Tom Aspinall might not be as high-class a wrestler as we thought. He used to fight guys who weren't really good at wrestling...”
