Sean O'Malley's coach, Tim Welch, is confident that the UFC will get rid of boring fighters who constantly fight on the ground.
"There are rumors that the UFC is trying to get rid of guys who just pin their opponents to the canvas and waste time. Of grapplers who keep you in half-guard the entire fight. I think they are gradually moving away from that style, and honestly, I think it's reasonable. The UFC is getting rid of boring fighters — probably, that's how it should be.
