Cormier explained why the third fight between Yan and Dvalishvili may not happen

Daniel Cormier, former UFC two-division champion, now commentator and analyst, explained why the UFC might refuse to organize a third fight between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili.

“It seems that Petr Yan is not interested in a rematch with Merab. But there is Sean O’Malley, who is the biggest star in this division, and there will be a temptation to say: "Why don't we put O’Malley against Petr Yan, after all, then Sean won't be fighting all the time?" However, this would be unfair, because undoubtedly, Merab should be the next to fight for the title.”
