Whittaker predicted the rematch between Dvalishvili and Yan

Robert Whittaker, former UFC middleweight champion, predicted the upcoming rematch between Merab Dvalishvili and Petr Yan.

“If we exclude a random knockout, then I don’t see a scenario where the rematch would be different from the first fight. Dvalishvili has improved in striking, moves with more confidence, and better combines the threat of wrestling with punches.

I don’t know what Petr Yan needs to do to win. Merab is special, there is no one like him. To beat him, you need to do what Merab does, and do it better. Petr Yan is very good, but I don't see another way for him except for a lucky punch,” said Whittaker in an interview with Main Event.
