The former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley commented on the decision of lightweight titleholder Ilia Topuria to take a break in his career. According to rumors, the Spanish Georgian made this decision because of a separation from his wife.
"Publicity makes an already difficult situation unbearable. Going through this, it's almost impossible to focus on training. When children are involved, everything becomes exponentially harder. I sincerely feel sorry for him," said Sean.
Recall that earlier a fight for the interim UFC lightweight title was scheduled between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett. The meeting will take place on January 24 at UFC 324 in Las Vegas.
