Michael Bisping, former UFC middleweight champion, and now a commentator and analyst, accused bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili of not respecting the sport.
“Of course, Petr Yan is his next opponent, and this will undoubtedly be a very tough fight. But, more importantly, his main opponent could be himself because he fights every few months, and as we've already said, his training camps, his style, the fact that he constantly takes fights to decisions—all this at some point will lead to burnout, and his toughest opponent may turn out to be himself. He does not respect the sport and the challenges facing him.”
