Khamzat Chimaev spoke about the conflict with Sean Strickland.
"I don't know, to be honest. He took issue with me... Previously, when we were in the gym, he seemed to get along with me just fine. Well, once I had a little clash with him, and the next day he was walking around with a gun, thinking I might attack him.
What was the reason? We had a group on social networks, the Dagestani guys were there too... There was some fighter who looked like a Chechen, and he wrote: 'I thought all Chechens were strong.' And I wrote in the group: 'American chicken, I'm going to beat you now.' And then he misunderstood me. That's how this situation happened."
