Weidman gave a forecast for the fight between du Plessis and Chimaev

Chris Weidman, former UFC middleweight champion, spoke about the upcoming fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Dricus du Plessis.

“Chimaev — he is that guy. No wonder he is called the “boogeyman”. But he needs to finish du Plessis in the early rounds, because I can’t imagine how he can win on points.

Dricus is too much for any opponent. He is everywhere at once; it’s hard to catch him. You absolutely cannot tire out by the fifth round with him. Chimaev hasn’t had that kind of experience yet. Therefore, I’m betting on Dricus winning in the late rounds — I’m really original, ha-ha,” — Weidman’s words are quoted by MMA Fighting.
