Cormier believes that Khabib retired too early

Daniel Cormier believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov finished his fighting career too early.

“In my opinion, Khabib retired too soon. He could still be fighting to this day. And Islam Makhachev is a kind of spiritual continuation of Khabib in MMA. But knowing Nurmagomedov closely, I can say that the death of his father took away a lot from him. I knew it was all over and he would leave when his mother told him: ‘You started this journey with your father. I don’t want you to continue fighting without him,’” quotes Cormier from the Sportskeeda portal.
