Dariush is sure that he would have beaten Makhachev

Beneil Dariush, the ninth ranked lightweight in the UFC, is confident that he could compete with the former promotion champion in this weight class, Islam Makhachev.

“It would have been a finish. None of us have ever lost by decision. I don’t think I would have given up. I am sure I would have won,” said Dariush in an interview with MMAJunkie.

Recall that Makhachev vacated the title and moved up to welterweight.
