UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has spoken out about his upcoming fight with Della Maddalena.

"I'm not a guy who underestimates opponents. I prefer to overestimate them. He's had 14 months, so he better get better.

There are levels in this game. I'm not Bassil Hafez or Gilbert Burns. When you get in the cage with me, you're going to think, 'Damn, that's why he's the champion.' Why does everybody say he's not that good? He's definitely the best in the world." I want him to leave the cage with that reaction. It's going to be a tough night for him," MMAJunkie quoted Muhammad as saying.
