Strickland called for Pereira to be respected

Sean Strickland, former UFC middleweight champion, shared his opinion on Alex Pereira, the organization's bantamweight champion.

"Gotta respect Alex. Where the hell did he come from? From a goddamn tire shop. He came from literally nowhere and made a life for himself. He's kind of become the embodiment of the American dream. You gotta respect that kind of attitude," Strickland was quoted as saying by MMAJunkie.
