Dariusz suggested an unexpected opponent for Makhachev

UFC American lightweight Beneil Dariush expressed his opinion that the division's current champion Islam Makhachev may experience problems in a possible fight with former undercard belt holder Max Holloway.

"You know who would be an interesting opponent for Islam? Max Holloway. It would be a good fight for Makhachev. Because Max is hard to contain, he has brilliant stamina, he throws a lot of punches. It could be difficult for Islam," said Dariush in an interview with Sirius XM.

Recall, January 19 at UFC 311 Makhachev held the fourth defense of the belt, finishing Renato Moicano.
