Without a win in the lightweight division, he doesn't deserve a title fight because Islam has already given the welterweight a chance. People aren't happy with Islam fighting Volkanovski twice, but that fight was insisted on by the UFC and those were good fights, but fighting the featherweight champion three times - why would he do that? It's not fair to the lightweight division fighters. But if Elijah goes up and beats someone like Charles Oliveira, sure. And I think he can beat him."
