American Julianna Pena has expressed a desire for a third fight with former dominant division champion Amanda Nunes of Brazil after regaining the UFC flyweight title.
"I want Amanda Nunez to stop running from me, get back in the octagon. We have to close the trilogy. The score between us is 1-1, so we have the opportunity to have the greatest fight in the history of the women's lightweight division, in the history of the sport. I don't believe that she has finally ended her career, and I want to see her in this octagon so that we finally find out who is stronger," stated Pena.
Recall that today Peña took the title away from Raquel Pennington, winning by split decision of judges. The fight headlined the UFC 307 show in Salt Lake City, USA.
