One of the best boxers of our time regardless of weight class, Terence Crawford, has responded to the question of whether he has actually negotiated a fight with Conor McGreor under MMA rules.
"I was offered this fight and Conor and I got on the phone. I just told him, 'I'm not going to go out there in the damn octagon with you where you could kick me, smash me with elbows and kick my ass.' He just laughed and replied, "Man, I respect that. But we're going to make a lot of money." Sometimes it's not about the royalties. I can make decent money, but I'm not going to get my ass kicked," Crawford was quoted as saying by journalist Michael Benson on his social media page.
