Michael Bisping, former UFC champion and current commentator and analyst, reacted to Alex Pereira saying he may return to middleweight.
"He's the light heavyweight champion of the world. Being champion means a certain responsibility. First of all being No. 1, there are already fighters he needs to fight. He will have a fight with Khalil Rountree. You can't look past Rountree...If Alex beats Khalil, which is a big "if", he will have to make the fight with Magomed Ankalaev. We want to see great champions, and Alex Pereira is a great champion. There's no doubt about it. We want to see great champions fight all the contenders in the division to prove that they can beat everybody in these different styles."
