Daniel Cormier, former two-division UFC champion and current commentator and analyst, gave his prediction for the upcoming bout between Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.

"I think Izzy will win, he will win this fight. Because I can't imagine Israel Adesanya's career if he doesn't hold the title. Motivation is a tricky thing, especially for a guy who has everything. Money, titles, fame. Yes, he doesn't own the championship belt this time, he claims it, but it's still still his card, his main event. If he loses, everything changes, so a win is vital for him."
As a reminder, Adesanya's fight with Du Plessis will take place on August 17 at UFC 305.
