Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has reacted to the notion that current titleholder Belal Muhammad is an improved version of him.
"Muhammad is not a better version of me. Everything Belal does, I do better. He says - I did what you couldn't do, I beat Leon Edwards. First of all, I have a win over Leon, and in the second fight I dominated him until he landed that leg kick. Becoming a champion for the first time is like drinking your first mug of beer - you suddenly start talking nonsense," Usman said in his prompter.
Usman has not been in the octagon since October last year, when he lost by majority decision to Khamzat Chimaev.
