Israel Adesanya reacted to the news that Shawn Strickland will face the winner of their rivalry with Dricus Du Plessis.
"Oh, really? That's cool. Really cool. Honestly, I didn't think the UFC would announce it this way - I thought it was going to be the winner of the Whittaker/Chimayev fight. I still have to think about it, but I like it. I don't mind it, it's really cool."
As a reminder, the fight between Adesanya and Du Plessis will take place on August 17 as part of UFC 305.
