Du Plessis plans on knocking out Adesanya

UFC welterweight champion Dricus Du Plessis has given his predictions for his bout with Israel Adesanya.

"If I had thrown the punch that Sean Strickland used to get Israel Adesanya, the fight would have been over one hundred percent. We know that Strickland is not a powerful puncher. Shawn is an incredibly good boxer, his boxing is really good, but he's not a knockout artist. He dropped Adesanya, and honestly, I thought the fight was going to be over soon. If I catch Adesanya with a punch like that, it's over. That's exactly what I'm going to do."

As a reminder, the fight between Adesanya and Du Plessis will take place on August 17 at UFC 305.
