Sterling named the winner of the Sandhagen - Nurmagomedov fight

Former UFC flyweight champion Aljamain Sterling shared his prediction for the division's upcoming fight between Corey Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov, which takes place on August 3 at UFC on ABC 7 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"It's like Corey knows something that we don't, since he seems more confident than he should be. Maybe he has good reasons to be confident. Leon Edwards had great defense against the struggles of Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. But here was Belal Muhammad moving him to the floor over and over again. Which begs the question - has Corey done enough work to get away from Usman's transfers? Will he be able to make the fight stand at a comfortable distance for him.

If Corey can defend himself, he has a good chance of success. If Umar takes the fight to the floor... Corey's not that bad, but he'll last 1-2 rounds. After that, Umar can win by submission," Sterling said on The MMA Hour show.
