UFC welterweight contender Carlos Prates explained why he always appears so calm during fights.
"I spent six years in Thailand with no money and no sponsor. I fought with a broken hand, took fights while I was sick, and competed in very tough conditions for little money—just to pay the bills. So now, when I walk into the cage, what can happen? I can get beaten up, I can lose. Of course I don’t want that, but even if I lose, I’m still going to make a lot of money—and I like that," the Brazilian said in an interview with UFC.
