IBF lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) took a break in his career and is not planning to enter the ring with WBA titleholder Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs). This was announced by the manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas.

"Right now Lomachenko is not in the mood, he has no motivation at the moment. He took a break, he wants to spend more time with his family. In Loma's case, money alone doesn't motivate him. He doesn't do anything just for money. You can offer him millions, tens of millions of dollars, but if he's not motivated, he's not ready to fight. But Lomachenko does not end his career," - quotes Klimas boxing columnist Steve Kim on social network X.

Recall that Lomachenko last fight held in May, knocking out George Kambososos.
