Argentine UFC welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio commented on the outcome of his fight with Dagestan Muslim Salikhov.
Ponzinibbio lost to Salikhov by split judges' decision this past weekend at UFC on ESPN 59 in Denver.
"It's an ugly feeling. We had a great training camp and I was able to perform well despite all the interference. I showed myself well in the octagon, my team - outside the cage.
We believe we won the fight. I took at least two rounds. Some people even think I should have been given all three rounds. But that's the way it is with the judges. If I don't knock my opponent out, the decisions are rarely in my favor. I'm going to keep my head up and move forward," MMA Junkie quoted Ponzinibbio as saying.
