Brown: "McGregor's not coming back."

Retired American mixed martial arts veteran Matt Brown has spoken out regarding Conor McGregor's withdrawal from his bout against Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

"I never had any confidence in him coming back. And I wasn't shocked when I found out he withdrew from this fight. No, I remain of the same opinion: he's not coming back.

I've said it before: I hope he proves me wrong. I'd like to see Conor fight. I'd like to see him do a real training camp with real sparring partners, give it his all and become the great Conor he was. I'd like that. A lot of people would. But it's not going to happen," - quotes Brown MMA Fighting.

Recall that 35-year-old McGregor did not go into the octagon for almost three years. In the last fight, the Irishman lost to Dustin Porier by technical knockout, breaking his leg in the first round.
