Robert Whittaker, former UFC middleweight champion, commented on the cancelation of the fight between the promotion's former two-division champion Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.
"When you rarely get fights, there are problems. That's what it's all about. The likelihood of getting injured during training and prep work is very high ... The thing is, he only fights once every few years ... so injuries are inevitable," Whittaker said on the New York Post Sports YouTube channel.
Recall, McGregor's fight with Chandler was scheduled to take place on June 29, headlining UFC 303.
