Joe Rogan, a longtime UFC commentator, was amazed at how great the advantage of Khamzat Chimaev over Dricus du Plessis was in grappling.
“For Dricus, coming back after this and closing the gap with Khamzat is not an easy task. Such superiority in grappling was not just a next level, but a difference of several steps. Dricus had no answer to this problematic question. I don’t know who he invited to the training camp, but it is clear that he didn’t bring anyone who possessed such skill,” Rogan said during the broadcast on ESPN.
