Makhachev wants to knockout Puryear in the first three rounds

Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, has spoken out about his upcoming fight with Dustin Puryear. Makhachev stated his desire to finish Dustin within three rounds.

"Porier is a legend - his name will be a good addition to my legacy. This guy is very dangerous and I'm preparing for a tough fight. I'm not underestimating him, he's a very serious challenge, but I'm going to finish Dustin within three rounds. Every second I'm going to be looking to finish the fight early. I have something special in store for him."

As a reminder, the bout between Makhachev and Puryear will take place on June 1 and headlines UFC 302.
