The date and location of the first press conference featuring McGregor and Chandler have been announced

UFC CEO Dana White has announced that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will hold their first press conference on June 3 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

The fight between the star-studded Irishman and the American will be the main event of UFC 303, scheduled for June 29 in Las Vegas, USA. The five-round bout will take place in the welterweight division.

McGregor, 35, hasn't stepped into the octagon since July 2021, when he lost an early decision to Dustin Puryear due to a broken leg. The former two-division champion is the biggest star in MMA history, with wins over notable fighters such as Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz, Eddie Alvarez, Donald Cerrone, Max Holloway, Puryear and Chad Mendes on his record.

Chandler, 38, is a three-time former Bellator lightweight champion. The American also had his last fight against Dustin Puryear, losing by choke hold. The fight took place in November 2022 at UFC 281.
