St. Pierre responded to whether he could dominate in modern MMA

Former UFC two weight class champion George St-Pierre answered the question of whether he would be a top fighter these days.

"If I was moved to the present in my prime, and that prime wasn't that long ago, I think I would excel. Of course, if you give me the knowledge and tools that current fighters have now, it would make me even better. It's all about technology.

If you talk about any sport, it's the same here. Einstein said it best, "If I have seen farther than my predecessors, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." That's true in science, but it's also true in sports. So, they learn from their predecessors, and I learned from my predecessors. So I didn't have to make the same mistake that I learned from them. That gives me an advantage over them, and the future generation has an advantage over me. And no matter how good they are today, they will be even better in the future," Middle Easy quotes the Canadian as saying.
