On April 11th at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, the "Gypsy King" will fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. The bout will be broadcast live on the Netflix platform.
In an interview with DAZN Boxing, Froch commented in depth on Fury's current situation: "Tyson is full of confidence and self-assurance; he loves to win. He lost twice to the same guy. But he told everyone he won and was robbed."
Froch left no illusions regarding Tyson's most principled career opponent: "I think Tyson will never beat Usyk. He needs to accept it."
The former champion emphasized that everything will depend on how Fury performs in the upcoming fight: "Let's see how Fury fights against Makhmudov, and then we'll look at the opportunities that arise."
According to Froch, the most realistic and accessible options for Fury are fights against young British heavyweights: "Dubois, Wardley — fights where Fury can win."
However, the most attractive from a commercial standpoint remains the long-standing British super fight: "The fight against Joshua is great in terms of sales and attracting people's attention. I think Tyson is targeting him," concluded Froch.
