The legendary British heavyweight, former undisputed world champion Lennox Lewis commented on Deontay Wilder's decision to continue his professional career after a series of heavy defeats.

"Wilder's main thing is to ask himself if he has fighting spirit. For example, it seems to me that he gave up, in that case, he needs to retire. Although he has assembled a new team. But this is his life and only he decides what to do next," Lewis said in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

According to Lennox, the key issue remains the internal mindset and desire of the 40-year-old American to continue performing at a high level, rather than just changing trainers.

Recall that on April 4 in London, Wilder will enter the ring against the experienced Briton Dereck Chisora.
