The last fight of Jermell Charlo took place in September 2023, when he fought Canelo for all his belts in the super middleweight division (76.2 kg). Now Jermell promises his return, but already at welterweight (66.7 kg), where he began his professional career almost two decades ago.
"I don't have time for all this waiting and talk. For two years I demanded fights with the best super welterweight boxers, but to no avail, and I have proof of that. That's why I'm coming back to welterweight," Charlo said, the former undisputed champion at super welterweight.
