Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) at times looked a bit upset, but ultimately broke his opponent's resistance in the fifth round and finished the fight in the sixth. After the fight, he praised his opponent, but also called out Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) for a fight.

"It wasn't my best fight, but I was coming back after a fifteen-month break. If Fury wants, let him take his fingers off the phone and put on gloves. Want to be the bad guy? Then stop flapping your gums and face me in the ring. I'd love to talk to you with my fists," Joshua stated.

"This is the biggest fight in boxing, so of course we really want to make it happen. Next year, we will resume work and want to fight Fury," declared Eddie Hearn, Joshua's longtime promoter.
