García criticized Golovkin's inclusion in the Boxing Hall of Fame

Ryan García commented on the inclusion of former middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

"GGG should not have been among the candidates for the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Same with Nigel Benn. Although I like Antonio Tarver. Gennady is an iconic fighter. As I have said before, I believe getting into the Hall of Fame should be difficult, but now almost any more-or-less good boxer can get in. I want to immediately apologize to the fans from Kazakhstan, to the GGG fans. You pounced on me last time, but I still love you."
