Ryan Garcia turned down a $20 million fight offer from Jake Paul, claiming the size difference made it a no-win situation. Despite the lucrative deal, Garcia saw issues with being challenged by someone significantly larger than him in the boxing ring.

Jake Paul previously targeted Gervonta Davis for a match but switched his sights to Ryan Garcia after that fight didn't materialize. Paul didn't stop there; he also aimed at Anthony Joshua for his upcoming bout set for December 19 in Miami.

Garcia didn't mince words about Paul's appeal. "He's 220 pounds. What are we talking about? I'm not going to let this dude think he's that good because he's a heavyweight and trying to fight 135-pounders," he sniped, making clear why he refused, regardless of the payday involved.

However, that doesn't mean he's shut off all possibilities. When probed about considering such offers if they were higher, Garcia admitted, "I definitely would consider it. 100%. I'd be stupid if I didn't." Reportedly, $70 million might change his current stance.

Looking ahead, Garcia plans to face Mario Barrios in future events which aligns more with his weight class and ambitions outside of fantasy bouts pitched by YouTubers turned pugilists like Jake Paul.
