"Defeat is painful. I won't pretend to be happy, but that's life. I will return to my beloved family and see what happens next. Although all of this is difficult, I intend to continue. This is a temporary setback, and I will keep fighting. I felt good between the ropes, there's still fire in me, and I think I should show it in the next fight. However, if everything goes wrong again, it will be very hard," Parker stated.

"At the end of the fight, I thought everything was fine, but I'm not the referee. I thought everything was fine, but I got caught by a punch, and that happens in boxing. Of course, I wanted to continue the fight. Fabio Wardley is a fighter and a tough guy, congratulations to him. I hope we can have a rematch," added the 33-year-old Auckland native.
