Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are set to face off in a match that's got everyone talking. The Mexican and American champions will step into the ring on September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

This fight's shaping up to be a big deal. It's not just about two top boxers going at it - it's also bringing back the classic Mexico vs. USA rivalry that's given us some unforgettable moments in boxing history.

Remember the Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales fight back in 2005? That one's still talked about as the best fight of the century. The 10th round was something else - Corrales got knocked down twice but came back swinging to win.

And who can forget when Julio Cesar Chavez took on Meldrick Taylor in 1990? Chavez pulled off a knockout with just two seconds left on the clock. That win's still celebrated as one of Mexico's greatest boxing moments.

There's also the 1993 fight between Humberto 'Chiquita' Gonzalez and Michael 'Manitas de Piedra' Carbajal. These guys made history as the first lightweights to rake in a million bucks. Carbajal won with a knockout in the 7th round, and the fight was named the best of '93.

Speaking of 1993, that's the year Julio Cesar Chavez and 'Sweet Pea' Whitaker drew a crowd of 60,000. The match ended in a draw, but plenty of folks weren't happy with that call. The American media called it a "robbery," which only fired up the Mexico-USA rivalry even more.

Now, Canelo and Crawford are ready to add their names to this storied rivalry. This fight's got the potential to be one of the biggest ever - not just in terms of skill, but money too. It's expected to be the third-biggest moneymaker in boxing history, right behind the Mayweather-Pacquiao and Mayweather-McGregor fights.

Crawford's coming into this fight with a perfect 41-0 record and he's jumping up two weight classes for the chance to take on Canelo. The Mexican champ's got a 63-2-2 record and he'll be defending his WBC super middleweight title.

Come September 13, we'll see if this fight lives up to all the hype. One thing's for sure - it's gonna be one to remember.
