For years, there have been attempts to pit Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KO) against Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KO). Perhaps now, when both are not at their peak, this scheme will work. At one time, both were at the top of heavyweight, but today they no longer instill fear in the hearts of others. However, fans would likely still like to see this fight, but Carl Froch is not among them.

“Don’t ruin your legacy and legend any further. After what I saw recently, I just don’t want to watch Wilder fight anymore. He has lost his legs, punching power, tires quickly, and loses strength. I don’t understand why he and Joshua continue their careers. In my opinion, they shouldn’t be allowed to step into the ring again because they will only destroy their legacy,” said "The Cobra" from Nottingham.
