While there's no belt on the line, both boxers have a lot to gain. They'll be fighting for glory, fame, and a chance to move up in the rankings. But the biggest draw might be the cash they'll take home.

Duarte will pocket a guaranteed $300,000 for the fight. That's a step up from his last bout in February against Miguel Madueño, where he earned $275,000. For that fight, he didn't get any extra money from TV or ticket sales.

Sims Jr., who's from Chicago, will get $100,000 just for showing up. That's already a big jump from the $60,000 he made fighting Kendo Castaneda. He could make even more if he wins, especially if he knocks Duarte out.

Neither fighter seems to be getting a cut of the pay-per-view money. But for Sims Jr., fighting in his hometown could give him an edge with the crowd.

This fight is a big deal for both men. Duarte can use it to climb the media and financial ladder. For Sims Jr., it's a chance to raise his profile and bump up his earnings.

The match is part of a bigger boxing event happening that night. Even though there's no title at stake, both fighters have a lot to prove - and a lot to gain.
