Amir Khan Reveals Surprising Insight on Ricky Hatton's Opponent: "He's Got Something"

Khan believes Hatton's got the edge in this one. He's got some inside knowledge, too. Al Dah, known as 'The Arabian Warrior', trained and lived at Khan's house for a while.

"Ricky's opponent Eisa Al Dah trained and lived at my house, I looked after him a lot. He's a very dear friend of mine and I think it's a great fight for Ricky. He takes a good shot, but technically I think Ricky is maybe one or two steps ahead, I don't think he really causes Ricky many problems."

Hatton, now 46, boasts an impressive 45 wins from 48 fights. He first hung up his gloves in 2009 after Manny Pacquiao knocked him out. Before that, he'd only lost once - to Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand in 2007.

He tried to come back once before. In 2012, he fought Vyacheslav Senchenko but lost. Now, he's giving it another go.

Al Dah's got a special place in UAE boxing history. He's their first-ever pro boxer. At 46, he's got 11 fights under his belt with 8 wins. But he hasn't stepped in the ring since 2019, and his last win was way back in 2012 in Dubai against Miguel Angel Munguia.

Khan thinks this fight's a smart move for both guys.

"Look, every fight is a threat, but I think this is a good fight to come back to for Ricky. Also this is a massive opportunity for Eisa to maybe win this, and if he can win this one, then I think it opens more doors for him in Dubai."

Hatton's career has had its ups and downs, but he's always been a fan favorite. This comeback's got everyone curious. Will the 'Hitman' still have what it takes? We'll find out in December.
