Former Heavyweight Champ Challenges Jake Paul, Stakes Career on Outcome: "It's Do or Die"

Paul's boxing career keeps turning heads. The YouTuber-turned-boxer recently beat Mike Tyson in a unanimous decision. The fight got people talking because Tyson is 58 and hadn't boxed professionally in years. Before that, Paul beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, a former WBC middleweight champ.

Joshua, on the other hand, hasn't fought in almost a year. His last bout ended in a fifth-round knockout loss to IBF heavyweight champ Daniel Dubois back in September.

Alalshikh spilled the beans about the potential matchup during a recent interview. He said:

"I am not against Jake Paul, I am just against some fights he do. I am thinking me and him, to doing him against Joshua now. Joshua if he destroys him, it would be good for me, Jake Paul is finished. The headache would go from my mind. If Jake wins, I would know that Joshua is finished and that Jake deserves ranking and his future in boxing… Jake Paul accept it. Next week I will talk with Joshua about it."

The fight could be a make-or-break moment for both boxers. If Joshua wins, it might put an end to Paul's boxing career. But if Paul comes out on top, he'd prove he can hang with the pros and it could spell trouble for Joshua's future in the sport.

Paul and Joshua have been going back and forth lately in what looks like playful banter. Now, we'll have to wait and see if they'll actually duke it out in the ring.
