Fury hung up his gloves in January after those two losses. He lost his WBC heavyweight title to Usyk in May 2024 by split decision. Then in December, Usyk beat him again, this time by unanimous decision. These were the first two losses of Fury's pro career.
Since Fury retired, people have been talking about him coming back. Most thought he'd fight Anthony Joshua in a big UK showdown. But Fury's not interested in that anymore. He's only got eyes for Usyk.
"If I was going to come back I'd come back for Usyk. In England. That's the one I want immediately, that would be the fight I want next. In England for sure."
Fury's still not happy about how that last fight with Usyk went down in December. He thinks he won it.
"My last fight was a clear f**king victory for The Gypsy King. Anybody in boxing can see that. A complete load of dogs**t. I thought I won it by five rounds. I watched it 250 times. Each way I never see it as a way for him to win."
He added:
"I want a fair fight, I don't want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. Which I know I didn't [get]."
Right now, Usyk's getting ready to defend his titles against IBF champ Daniel Dubois later this month. He's open to fighting Fury again, but it's not likely to happen soon.
So, while Fury's talking about coming back, we'll have to wait and see if this trilogy fight ever happens. For now, it's just talk from the Gypsy King.
