Roy Jones Jr. has shared his 'Mount Rushmore' of boxing, and he's put Muhammad Ali at the top. The former champion ranked Ali above Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest boxer of all time.

In a recent chat with RealLyfe Productions, Jones Jr. opened up about his picks for the best boxers in history. He said it wasn't easy to choose, but he had to go with Ali as number one.

"It's very hard to say but if I had to create my own Mount Rushmore, it would be tough but I'd put [Muhammad] Ali first, I'm gonna take myself out just because it's me doing it. I'd put Ali first, I would probably put Sugar Ray Robinson second … I would probably put Roberto Duran third … then I'd probably put Mike Tyson somewhere around the fourth."

Many fans and experts often can't decide between Ali and Robinson when it comes to the greatest boxer ever. Robinson's career was impressive. He started boxing in 1940 and fought for 25 years, racking up 201 fights. He held the world welterweight title from 1946 to 1951 and grabbed the world middleweight title five different times. He faced tough opponents like Jake LaMotta and Rocky Graziano.

But Ali, nicknamed 'The Greatest', left a mark that went beyond the ring. He's seen as one of the most influential fighters in boxing history, and lots of people think he's the best heavyweight ever.

Jones Jr.'s list rounds out with Roberto Duran in third place and Mike Tyson in fourth. It's clear that picking just four boxers for a 'Mount Rushmore' isn't easy, even for a boxing legend like Roy Jones Jr.
