Dubois holds the IBF title, while Usyk has the WBO, WBC, and WBA belts. They first fought in August 2023, when Usyk won by knockout in the 9th round. That fight had some drama when Dubois knocked Usyk down, but the referee called it a low blow.
Derek Chisora, who might fight the winner, shared his thoughts on the rematch. He told iFL TV:
"I want to sit down and watch that. Shout out to Daniel, good luck [but] he's fighting a guy who's very on point."
Chisora has fought 49 times in his career, facing big names like Tyson Fury, Dillian White, and Joseph Parker. He won his last fight against Otto Wallin on points in February in Manchester. That win made him the IBF mandatory challenger.
Chisora now has a shot at the world title Dubois currently holds. He's fought Usyk before, losing on points in a heavyweight bout back in 2020.
The winner of Dubois vs Usyk will have to face their mandatory challengers. Besides Chisora for the IBF, Joseph Parker is next in line for the WBO belt.
Chisora wants to retire after his 50th fight. He hopes to have his last fight in Saudi Arabia. A world title fight could be a great way for Chisora to end his career after giving so much to boxing.
