'Tank' Davis, the WBA lightweight champ, recently fought Lamont Roach Jr to a split decision draw on March 1. Now, he's getting ready for a rematch with Roach, which is close to being finalized.

On the other side, WBC lightweight titleholder Shakur Stevenson stopped Josh Padley in the ninth round on February 22 in Riyadh. Stevenson's next fight is set for July 12 in New York City, where he'll defend his belt against William Zepeda.

While the Davis-Stevenson fight isn't official yet, 'Iron' Mike Tyson shared his thoughts on how it might go. The retired heavyweight legend told iFL TV:

"Tough one. On record it looks like Tank's the winner. But Shakur's one of those fighters that we were talking about in the car coming up here, he is so much better than what he looks like so I'm sure when Tank gets in there it's not gonna be as easy as he anticipated."

Tyson thinks Davis will win, but he knows Stevenson's skills might make it harder for 'Tank' than people expect.

The potential fight would bring together the WBA and WBC lightweight titles at 135 pounds. It could be the biggest match in boxing between two unbeaten stars. For now, fans will have to wait a bit longer for any official news about this exciting showdown.
