Terence Crawford, a 37-year-old boxer from Omaha, Nebraska, has shared his thoughts on the current pound-for-pound rankings in boxing. The switch-hitting fighter places himself second on the list, behind Oleksandr Usyk but ahead of Naoya Inoue.

Crawford's career spans over 40 fights since his debut in 2008. He's won world titles in four weight classes and achieved undisputed status in both the super lightweight and welterweight divisions. His list of victories includes former unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr, two-time welterweight champion Shawn Porter, and former super welterweight champion Israil Madrimov.

When asked about his ranking, Crawford expressed surprise at his position in The Ring Magazine's list:

"The Ring number three? How y'all rating me number three? Who rating me at number three? I gotta go talk to them. [Oleksandr] Usyk number one, he better be number one. Over Usyk? I'm not over Usyk, but I'm over Inoue."

Crawford's top pick, Oleksandr Usyk, has achieved undisputed status in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. Usyk's record includes two victories each over Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The Ukrainian boxer will defend his undisputed heavyweight title against Daniel Dubois on July 19.

Naoya Inoue, nicknamed "The Monster," rounds out Crawford's top three. The four-division world champion has dominated the lower weight classes and will defend his belt against Ramon Cardenas in Las Vegas this weekend. Fans can catch the action live from Vegas.

Looking ahead, Crawford might face Canelo Alvarez in September at super-middleweight. A win would make Crawford the first male boxer to achieve undisputed status in three weight divisions. Alvarez will fight William Scull for the IBF super-middleweight championship this weekend, aiming to become a two-time undisputed champion at 168lbs.

Crawford's ranking discussion shows he's still hungry for recognition despite his impressive achievements. The potential Canelo fight could cement his legacy as one of boxing's all-time greats.
