Jake Paul keeps looking for his next opponent in 2025. The YouTuber-turned-boxer wants to build on his win over Mike Tyson last November.

Paul's team tried to set up fights with Canelo and Gervonta Davis. Arabs got Canelo instead, and Davis' plans changed after his last fight ended in a draw.

Now, rumors point to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. as Paul's potential next rival. A video of Chavez Jr. training at home sparked speculation online. One fan asked, "Is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr fighting Jake Paul? And what's wrong with his mouth? PAUSE hahaha."

Paul recently trained alongside Amanda Serrano. She's getting ready for her third fight with Katie Taylor. Fans got excited seeing them work out together, wondering if it hints at Paul's future plans.

But many critics don't like Paul's choice of opponents. They say he picks inactive or past-prime boxers. Chavez Jr. fits that description. He hasn't fought a 12-round bout since 2019 and lost six of his last 10 fights.

Fans aren't happy about the potential matchup. One said, "How many retired boxers would accept to fight someone on the rise right now? Jake has been carefully selecting the boxers."

Another commented, "It's a respirator. Hopefully there are no drug tests or JCC cycles!"

A third fan added, "Julio has to stop embarrassing his father."

Most people don't want to see Paul fight Chavez Jr. We'll have to wait and see how "The Problem Child" responds to these rumors.
